1. Introduction

This is a puzzle program for the Newton. The object of this game is to
flip tiles so that all tiles face the same side. When you tap one of 16
tiles on the board, it flips over to show its other side (heads/tails).
This in turn cause other tiles to flip as well. Easy, you say? We don't
  think so.

If you like this game, please try our "Little Peking", "RepTile" and
"Knight in Minefield". They also are freeware Newton games.

2. Distribution of This Program

This program is freeware. You are free to give it away to your friends and
family members. Be sure to pass this readme file along with the program.

If you upload this program to a BBS or FTP site, please notify us by
  sending email afterwards.

3. Requirements

This program was tested on the MP-120 with Newton OS 1.3. It should
work on other models with the same OS. It should work on the OS 2.0 as
well, although we have not tested yet.

The program takes up about 29KB of memory and consumes about 4KB of heap.

4. How to Play

  A. Start A New Game

When you start the game for the first time, a game board appears after
a little pause. On the board you will see sixteen tiles that are facing
down (tails). Each time you tap the [New Game] button, the board is
cleared and new board pattern appears (see F. Skill Levels).

  B. Flipping the Tiles

Go ahead and tap any one of the tiles. The tile flips over and other
files turn over as well. Observe the pattern other tiles flip, and
figure out eventually how you can tap tiles so that all tiles face the
same side (heads). Tapping the same tile twice in a row gets you back
to the original tile configuration (which leaves you with much lower
    score points by the way).

  C. Undo Moves

To undo moves, tap the white U-turn icon button located at the bottom of
the screen. You can undo moves up to the very beginning of the game.

  D. Starting It Over

You can make a fresh restart by tapping the black turn icon button.
The board gets cleared; score points and move counter are reset.

  E. Choosing Flip Patterns

You can choose a flip pattern from six predefined ones. Tap the
"<>Tile Flip Pattern:" picker located in the upper left corner and
    select one.

  F. Skill Levels

You can choose skill levels other than the default "Practice" level.
Tap the "<>Skil Level:" picker located below the Tile Flip Pattern picker.
When you choose "Novice" or "Expert" level, you get one or more tiles
facing up at the beginning of each game. These "initial" tiles are picked
    at random.

  G. Score Records

Top scores for each pattern are kept. To view the records, tap [Hi Score]
    after pressing the [i] button.

5. Please Donate

Writing a program and maintaining it takes a lot of efforts. If you find this
program interesting, please donate some money to us. We are going to port this
program to OS2.0 as soon as we obtain the new MP-120. Comments, bug reports
  and suggestions are welcome.
